I don’t consider myself a portrait artist but that does not mean that I never paint or draw a person’s face. In fact I would guess that over my career I have drawn or painted literally hundreds of people—- in a classroom, across from me in a waiting room or on public transportation or very deliberately from photographs. The people pictured here were people who caught my eye and inspired me to share their stories in paint. Most of them are sold or unavailable, but it seems that a website dedicated to my watercolor portfolio needs to have these included.
