Birds, Butterflies, and Beasts

This collection includes watercolor paintings and drawings of some of my critter favorites:  blue bird eggs in the spring,  butterflies in the summer, and cats most any time.  The gesture drawings are usually done with ink and a brush, quickly and confidently, lines that convey a gesture as simply as possible. Gesture drawing is so much fun but takes a lot of practice.
