Welcome to my current exhibit featuring my recent work. Many of the images presented here are inspired by scenes within a few short miles of my home in Ocoee TN. The title of this exhibit is inspired by the story of Zacchaeus, a little guy who couldn’t see Jesus for the crowd. So he climbed a sycamore tree to get above it all. For a number of years I have viewed creating art as my personal sycamore tree, a way I can get above the din and the crowd of the morning news, the daily problems, the unsettling events of the day…..so that I can see what is holy around me. In this exhibit I share some of those views that have brought me calm and meaning. I hope they do the same for you.
The exhibit can be viewed in person and at The Art Center,320 N White St, Athens TN
