“From the start, I didn’t know that watercolor was supposed to be a difficult medium. So I jumped right in, never fearing it as many adult learners do.” As a result, Marie has developed a spontaneity and freedom of style. She sometimes works from photographs but prefers working on location where she can see, hear, smell and feel the subject.

The sun was coming through the windows creating a warm and welcoming setting.  With that in mind, the title seems obvious to me.  This is a watercolor done from an image at the lakeside home of a dear friend.
